About the Event
A few years before the pandemic, I started teaching online to a couple of students of FLE(French as a Foreign Language). It was like being thrown into the middle of the ocean with no help! Yet, it was a period of exponential growth that prepared me (though I did not realize it then!) for teaching from home through the pandemic. This was also the time that I worked towards a TESOL certificate from the University of Arizona via Coursera. Through this course, I got a first-hand experience of how a student feels during an online/remote course. I realized that good strategies for learning/teaching hold true, regardless of whether it is in front of a screen or a blackboard.
